Throughout her career, Alice has worked at the intersection of people, organizations, and leadership. Her senior experience at Comcast included leading DEI integration, learning strategy, and large-scale workforce development initiatives. Working within a 700-person talent organization, she supported employee development initiatives serving more than 180,000 employees.
In these environments, her work focused on building stronger organizational systems, embedding inclusive leadership practices, and helping leaders navigate the interpersonal and cultural challenges that can accompany transformation. Rather than viewing leadership development as a one-size-fits-all process, Alice emphasizes the importance of self-awareness, intentionality, and understanding the human dynamics behind organizational decisions.
Her practitioner experience is complemented by an extensive academic background. Alice earned a Doctorate in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Instructional Design, Training and Performance Improvement from Walden University. She also holds an MBA in Organizational Development and Psychology/Human Resources Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Development and Psychology from American InterContinental University.
Her education also includes Walden University’s Certificate in Instructional Design Technology, the University of Pennsylvania’s DiverseForce On Boards Leadership & Governance Program, and IFCE certification as an Executive, Leadership & Life Coach. She is also associated with organizations including the Society for Human Resource Management, International Coaching Federation, National Association of Women Business Owners, Golden Key International Honor Society, National Society of Leadership and Success, and International Association of Women Influencers.
Leaning into her sense of service to others, Alice serves on the President’s Council for The Acceleration Project, whose mission is committed to helping under-resourced small businesses grow and thrive. She also serves on the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s board, which focuses on developing leaders and enabling many individuals to contribute their talents to make our community thrive.
Alice’s commitment to education extends into the classroom. She has served as an adjunct lecturer at The Wharton School, teaching management communication to MBA students through applied, case-based learning. A central influence on Alice’s philosophy comes from her husband and family. She attributes much of her success to her grandmother and mother, women whose strength, standards, and capacity for love shaped her understanding of leadership and boundaries from an early age.
Her grandmother lived to 102 and remained strong and determined until shortly before her passing. Alice remembers her as stern and firm, but also deeply loving and protective, with exceptionally high standards. From her, Alice learned that standards established early can provide a foundation for the choices people make later in life.
She also learned that boundaries are not designed to disconnect people. Instead, they can serve as a form of protection. That perspective has become an important part of how Alice approaches leadership, relationships and personal development.
Growing up as the fifth of five daughters further shaped her perspective. Surrounded by her mother, grandmother, sisters and aunt, Alice learned diplomacy and observation from an early age. Her grandfather and father, who served in the Army and Navy respectively, contributed additional lessons to her development.
Those experiences taught Alice how to survive challenging circumstances, but her journey has ultimately become about something greater: learning how to transform survival skills into the ability to thrive.
That philosophy is also reflected in the guidance she offers young women entering leadership and professional environments.
Alice encourages young women to begin by building a strong support network, including mentors who are willing to make space for them and help them develop their capabilities. She emphasizes that one mentor may not be enough. Different mentors can provide different forms of guidance, from technical and professional development to communication, executive presence and navigating the workplace.
She also encourages women to identify coaches—people who ask thoughtful questions, genuinely listen and are willing to hold up a mirror when necessary. Alice believes coaching does not necessarily have to involve a paid professional. A meaningful coach can simply be someone who cares enough to challenge another person constructively.
Beyond mentors and coaches, Alice highlights the importance of advocates and sponsors. She believes sponsorship often develops when people demonstrate preparation, self-awareness, education and a commitment to personal growth. Emotional intelligence, particularly self-awareness, becomes critical in that process.
For Alice, being prepared also means knowing how to answer when an opportunity arises and someone asks, “How can I help you?” She encourages women to understand their goals clearly enough to respond intentionally rather than waiting until the moment arrives to figure out what they need.
Today, Alice continues to bring together education, executive experience, coaching and personal insight to help leaders move from reactive patterns toward intentional decision-making.
