AN ACT

Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

Statutes, in registration of vehicles, providing for

Pennsylvania Environmental Rights Amendment registration

plate; and, in fees, further providing for payments to

special funds.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:

§ 1352.3. Pennsylvania Environmental Rights Amendment

registration plate.

(a) Design.--The department, in consultation with the

Department of Environmental Protection and the Department of

Conservation and Natural Resources, shall design a special

Pennsylvania Environmental Rights Amendment registration plate.

The plate shall highlight the rights guaranteed under section 27

of Article I of the Constitution of Pennsylvania, including the

right of the people of this Commonwealth to clean air, pure

water and the preservation of the natural, scenic, historic and
